Wolfbrigade have put out Doomrunner, the second song from Howl From Underground, with a video that Jacob Frossen directed, filmed and edited on his own.
Thirty years in, the Swedes are still playing the same crust and d-beat with metal weight behind it, and the title is the whole aesthetic in one word. The band have never asked the form to do anything it cannot: short songs, a rhythm section that does not let up and riffs built to be shouted over.
The album is on Metal Blade, who have carried the band's last run of records, and the first preview went out before this one. Nothing about either suggests a change of plan, which for a band with this many albums behind them is the point rather than a failing.
