Wolves In The Throne Room will headline North America from 12 January to 10 February, with Stygian Bough and Spirit Possession along for it. Tickets go on sale on 9 October at ten in the morning, local time in each city.
It opens at the Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver and runs east through Salt Lake City, Wichita, Omaha, Minneapolis, Chicago, Cleveland, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Towson, then south through Asheville, Atlanta and Baton Rouge, across Texas and back up the west coast from Phoenix to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland.
The Denver date is the odd one. It is at the Stanley Hotel, for Fire In The Mountains, which is a festival rather than a club night, and the Stanley is the hotel that gave Stephen King The Shining. A band who have spent twenty years making records about forests playing a haunted hotel in the Rockies is a booking with a sense of humour behind it.
The tour follows Estuary, which Relapse Records releases on 23 October.
