Yoth Iria play three headline shows in the Balkans before their European tour with Thulcandra begins in March.

Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia, one night each, and the order matters: these are headline shows rather than support slots, so the band go into the tour having played their own full sets rather than forty minutes in front of somebody else's audience.

The Balkans are a region most bands at this level route around, which has always been a mistake. The crowds are there and they are loyal, and a Greek band is closer to them than almost anyone else on the circuit.

Yoth Iria came out of the earliest Hellenic black metal and have spent the last few years making records that sound like that scene rather than like an homage to it. Three shows is a modest announcement and a sensible way to arrive at March already warm.

The band put out a video earlier this year and have not stopped moving since. Thulcandra are a reasonable pairing for them: German, melodic, and from the same end of black metal that still cares about songs.
