Davion Cuttler has added his own account to the VCTMS allegations. He was the band's touring bassist and tech for more than two years, not a member, and he says he witnessed what Michael Joseph Clampitt described when he left the band and published his reasons.
He is careful to place himself. He was on the performing side and did the meet and greets, but he was crew, hired to run the playback and monitoring rig, with no say in how the band was run. That distinction matters to him and he spends the opening of the statement on it.
What he adds is specific. He describes verbal abuse, yelling and insults directed at him over those two years, and one incident of physical aggression in which the van keys were thrown at his face and broke the skin on the hand he raised to block them, after he asked for equipment so he could do his job. He says he was told she was having a bad day.
He also says something about his own exit. Two months ago he announced he was stepping away from touring and gave reasons that were all true, while leaving out the one that decided it. This is the third account in four days, after Clampitt's and after the singer's long reply, and the first from outside the band itself.
