Ukri Suvilehto, who has drummed for Abbath through several world tours, has put out a statement saying he is available. “I'm announcing my full availability for new professional opportunities and artistic collaborations,” he wrote, and then made it plainer: a band or a project, live or in the studio, get in touch.
He is thirty two, and by his own count he has spent twenty five of those years trying to become an internationally working musician. It started with drumming videos posted to YouTube about twenty years ago, which is to say when he was twelve, and the last nine have been the touring and recording part of it.
The notice arrives with Abbath's year in the state it is in: every remaining 2026 show was cancelled without a reason being given.
