Alex Terrible has announced a documentary called Blood 4 Blood: Sound Of War, about the festival of the same name that he put together with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

The format was bands and bare knuckle boxing on the same bill. Slaughter To Prevail played, Black Label Society, Crowbar and Malevolence played, and between the sets there were fights. Terrible did both, going from the stage into the ring against Cameron Delano, and losing after three rounds.

That he is making a film about an event where the headline act lost on camera is the interesting decision. The easy version of this documentary leaves the result out. The announced version follows the preparation, the switch from one performance to the other, and the other fighters.

Mixing a metal festival with a combat sports card is not new in theory and almost never works in practice, because the two crowds want opposite things from a room. A film is how a promoter finds out whether the first attempt was worth a second.
