All That Remains posted a picture from a studio on 8 October and said almost nothing with it, which is how this part of a record cycle usually starts. The work is presumably the follow up to Antifragile, out last year, and the band has confirmed no title, no date and no producer.
What makes it worth noting this early is who will be playing on it. Jason Richardson left last year and Ken Susi took the guitar chair, and Susi arrives from Unearth with time in As I Lay Dying behind him too. Richardson is a technical player whose fingerprints were all over the last two records; Susi comes from the blunter, riff first end of the same scene.
That is a real difference in how a band of this kind writes, and it will show up in the songs before it shows up in any interview. A metalcore record built around Susi's phrasing will not sound like one built around Richardson's, whatever the band says about continuity.
No release window has been mentioned. A studio photograph in October is normally a record for the second half of the following year.
