Asenblut released Urgewalt on 18 September through Massacre Records and put out a video for Barbaren und Legionen with Victorius on it.
Ten songs, and three of them have visitors: Victorius on the single, Sagenbringer on Der Druide, Mittel Alta on Tavernenrausch. The Germans move between pagan, death and Viking metal and traditional heavy metal, with choirs doing a lot of the lifting.
The settings are Norse, gods and Ragnarök and rituals and a good deal of fighting, and some of the songs go further out than that, into places run by warfare and fanaticism. What holds it together is the one thing the album keeps returning to and the tour is named after: who stands next to whom. The Bruderschaft dates are still running.
