Beaten to Death have put Fuck the Moon online from Vntrve, which Mas-Kina Recordings releases on 23 October.
Thirteen songs, and the titles are the point as much as the music: Fear of Being Included, Scroll On, Homeboy, Sunburnt Satanist, My Dying Little Pony, Satan Spawn The K-Pop Demon, and Fangad i en Battle Vest, which means caught in a battle jacket and is exactly as affectionate and as cruel as it sounds.
The Norwegians have never once played grindcore the way the genre asks, from Xes and Strokes in 2011 onward. Sunrise over Rigor Mortis came out in 2024 and Vntrve is the seventh album.
