Brat have put out a video for "Spit On His Grave", directed by Jeff Van Gerwen. The song is on Manslayer, which came out in late September through Prosthetic.
"'Spit On His Grave' is one of our favorite songs to play live," says Liz Selfish. "It's a very in-your-face, high energy song, and in true BRAT form we wanted to make the video campy and high energy as well."
Campy is the right word and the band have never pretended otherwise. What they do sits between grindcore and hardcore with the horror film furniture left deliberately visible, and the joke has never got in the way of the speed.
They go to Europe within days, supporting Napalm Death with Master and Goatburner, through the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland into the middle of November.
Three support bands on a bill like that is a long night and an education for anyone who arrives early.
