Breakdown Of Sanity have released Reveries, ten years after the last one, with a video for Atlas, the song that closes it.

Twelve tracks, and the band's own account of the decade is worth more than the usual comeback line. They stepped back, they say, then found their way back to the band, through personal and musical changes, and the record carries both what they sounded like before and what happened while they were gone.

One of those changes is at the front. Kivi Brandle sings now, after Carlo Knopfel left, which means the album has to work as a reintroduction as well as a return.

Four songs went out before it, The Hunt, Torn Pages, Hibernate and One Way Mirror, so a third of the record was public before today.

Choosing the last track for the video on release day is a way of pointing at the ending rather than the opening, which for a band that has been away this long reads like confidence.
