Breakdown Of Sanity release Reveries tomorrow, 6 November. It is their first album in ten years.
The gap is the whole story. The Swiss band stopped after Perception in 2013 and spent the decade since as one of those names that kept circulating in a scene that had moved on, their videos still being watched by people who were children when they came out. They said earlier this year that another record was coming, which is a sentence many bands in that position say and few follow.
One Way Mirror came out first.
Metal Archives does not list them, which is its usual treatment of metalcore, so what the catalogue holds here is ours rather than theirs. The release carries no label on our calendar either, which for a band at this level usually means they are doing it themselves, and after ten years away that is the more interesting possibility.
