Broken By The Scream have released "Parallel Universe" through Metal Blade Records, their second single for the label.

The number worth holding onto is in the touring. The band played thirteen shows across nine countries in Europe this year and sold out seven of their own headline dates, then took the Louder Stage at Wacken. A Japanese band with four vocalists and a sound that sits between metalcore and pop is not an obvious European draw, and selling out most of your own rooms on a first proper run is rare for anybody.

The band are Tsubaki Nanaougi, Shizuku Mikogami, Yayoi Takayashiki and Io Nozukidaira, all four of them singers, which is the structural oddity the music is built around: clean melody and screaming traded between people rather than within one throat.

They describe the song as being about love rearranging a life that used to revolve around itself. Dates for 2027 are promised soon, and the single follows their first Metal Blade release earlier this year.
