Bullet For My Valentine have put out Social Apocalypse, the title track of an album Spinefarm has scheduled for 19 March. Chris Wade directed the video.
Ten songs, and two of them carry guests from either side of the band's own ground. Will Ramos, who sings in Lorna Shore, is on I Don't Trust Tomorrow, third on the record. Chrissy Costanza of Against The Current, a pop rock band, is on In The Absence Of You, which sits second. The rest runs Here Without You, Acid Rain, Fragile, CVLT, Masquerade, Read Between The Lines and Enough Is Never Enough.
It is the eighth album and the first since the self titled one in 2021, which makes it the longest the band has gone between records. The seven before it are The Poison from 2005, Scream Aim Fire, Fever, Temper Temper, Venom, Gravity and Bullet for My Valentine.
The band started in Bridgend in Wales and has Matt Tuck on vocals and guitar, Michael Paget on the second guitar, Jamie Mathias on bass and Jason Bowld on drums. A UK and European arena run follows, headlined alone, with Pendulum as special guest and Dark Divine opening.
