Crown Magnetar release The Hollowing of Godflesh tomorrow, 25 September, through Unique Leader Records. Godflesh put out Decay the same day. The two records sit next to each other on the release list and have nothing else in common.
Ten tracks. Unique Leader has three of them out as videos already, Dead Crown, Godkiller and Shut Up and Bleed, and the five running times listed sit between the 2:38 of Impaled Genesis and the 3:45 of Godkiller, so nothing here is a long song.
Gun Eater opens it, the title track sits fifth, and Dead Crown, one of the three already out, closes it.
The band comes out of Colorado Springs and has been going since 2017. Dan Tucker sings, Nick Burnett plays guitar, Byron London plays drums. Unique Leader has been a death metal and deathcore label since the late nineties, which places the record before anyone has heard a second of it.
