Darkest Hour have released Warrior, the second song from Suffer Divine, with a video. The album is their eleventh and lands on 30 October through MNRK Heavy.
The title track went out first, in early September, and it was the harder of the two to place: fast, direct, aimed squarely at the people who have followed this band since the Victory years. Warrior arrives three weeks before the record, which is the slot a label keeps for the song it thinks will travel.
Eleven albums in thirty one years is a working rate rather than a prolific one, and the band have spent most of the last decade on a schedule that keeps the records a few years apart. What has not moved is the two sided thing they do, the melodic death metal guitar lines sitting inside metalcore structures, which is the reason they are still named whenever anyone argues about where one genre stopped and the other started.
They are on the road behind it in December across North America, headlining, with Judiciary in direct support and Kill Chain, Nehemiah and Justifications filling the bill out.
