Death Dealer Union have released "Spellbound Machine", a single with a video, on their own channel. It went up on 18 September and the footage is five days older than that: the credits date the shoot to 13 September, in Los Angeles, with Fernando Cordero and Ian Porter behind the cameras. Margarita Monet designed and directed it and cut it herself.
Max Morton produced, mixed and mastered the song, as he did the band's earlier releases. The line-up on it is the one the band has carried through the year: Kay Bellows on vocals, Doug Weiand on guitars, Brice Snyder on bass and CC McKenna on drums.
The song follows Dark Sister, the second full length album, and the run of singles around it that began with "Square Hammer" and "Cult of the Moonlight". Before that came Initiation in 2023 and, in 2022, the first two singles the band ever put out. No label is named on the video and nothing in it says which record the song belongs to.
