The Foreshadowing head the first edition of Doom Over Naples, which runs on Sunday 1 November at the Duel Club in Pozzuoli with five bands and a running order published to the quarter hour.
Doors open at 19:00. Il Malpertugio, stoner rock from Caserta, play 19:15 to 19:40. The Apulian Blues Foundation, stoner blues doom from Bari, take 20:00 to 20:25. In Aevum Agere, power doom from Naples itself, have 20:45 to 21:10. The Foreshadowing play 21:35 to 22:20, and Novembre close from 22:45 to 23:55.
Printing exact slots for a first edition is a small signal that the people running it have done this before. It is also the kind of detail that decides whether a Sunday night bill works, because the audience for the headliner can see what time to arrive and the opener still gets a room.
Two of the five are touring something. Novembre are out behind Words of Indigo, and The Foreshadowing have Ozymandias arriving on 20 November, which makes this an early airing rather than a victory lap.
Tickets are eighteen euro plus the booking fee in advance, or twenty five on the door. Up The Irons Group and Bagana are producing it.
