Doro has put out Rock You 2 Death with a video, the first song from Wild At Heart, which arrives on 11 December, just as the Magic Winter tour starts.
She filmed the video in Sweden and cut live footage from Wacken into it. Her own description of the song is a working one rather than a grand one: a sing-along anthem in the line of We Are The Metal Heads and Raise Your Fist In The Air, written to work on a stage. “This song is also going to go off live,” she says.
The album runs nine tracks and moves between anthems, heavier material and ballads, and closes the circle with a live version of Touch Of Evil sung with Alissa White-Gluz.
The timing is deliberate. “Many of them were written in the past few weeks,” she says of the new songs. “I wanted to have brand-new songs ready for the upcoming tour that would really ignite both on the album and live.”
