Grayscale Season have released Exit with a video, the third song out ahead of The Weight of Things We Cannot Touch on 20 November.

Three singles six weeks out is a full campaign for a band this size, and the sequencing has been deliberate. The second one took its title from a Japanese word for helpless frustration, which told you what the record is about before any of the music did. Exit is the plainest title of the three and lands in the same place.

The band works the melodic end of Swedish metalcore, where the clean chorus carries the song and the heavy sections exist to make it land harder. That is a crowded lane, and the thing separating the bands in it is whether the quiet parts are written as songs or as setup. Grayscale Season have been releasing enough of this record early for anyone to decide for themselves.

Preorders are open, and the album arrives on 20 November.
