L'Invitation, then a mysterious path, then the clearing, then the moon coming up. By track five everyone is dancing, by track six the toads are making a toast, by track seven there is one worm too many, and the eighth is called Arrivée de l'Ambulance.
The French project works between symphonic black metal and dungeon synth, which is the right pair of tools for a record that has to sound enchanted before it sounds like a mistake. Shaâtaunoâr was last year's album and there have been two splits since.
