Infant Annihilator have a date: 1 December, for the first album since The Battle of Yaldabaoth in 2019. The announcement was a teaser on the band's own Instagram and nothing more, which is how this band have always done it.

They have never had a label, never had a normal line-up and never played a conventional live schedule. Aaron Kitcher and Eddie Pickard built the whole thing themselves, put three albums out independently, and found an audience the size most signed bands in this genre do not reach. Technical deathcore as a term more or less dates from them being accused of inventing it.

Seven years is a long gap even for a band that works this way, and in the meantime deathcore has been through two more waves. What arrives on 1 December lands in a crowded field they helped create.

No title, no song and no tracklist yet. Just the date.
