Infant Annihilator have given their album a name: The Somnial Plunge Into Cyclic Ebullition, out on 1 December.
The date came first, eight days ago, with nothing else attached to it, which is how this band work. The title arrived the same way, in a video and no press release.
It is a title built to be read out loud by somebody who does not want to read it out loud, and that is the point. The band have spent their whole existence at the intersection of technical deathcore and a joke they refuse to explain, and the words on the sleeve have always been part of it.
It will be their first album since 2019 and the fourth overall. Aaron Kitcher and Eddie Pickard have never had a label, never had a conventional line-up and never toured like anybody else, and the audience turned up regardless.
Nothing has been said about a tracklist, a single or a format.
