Moodring have most of another album written. Hunter Young says so himself, and the context makes the update worth more than the usual studio noise.

"Last year we made the majority of a Moodring record," he wrote. "I didn't get to finish it for obvious reasons, but a lot of material exists, and so much of it is very very dope. Recently, Austin Coupe and I started to throw some ideas around just voice notes and what not."

The obvious reasons are three diagnoses he received three years ago: myalgic encephalomyelitis, dysautonomia and small fiber polyneuropathy. Earlier this month he opened a fundraiser to cover treatment, which is what most American musicians in this position end up doing.

He says he intends to put the material out sooner than later, which from someone in treatment is a plan rather than a date. death fetish, the last album, came out in March, and he also works as Psycho Frame.
