PeelingFlesh have released "Crackology" with a visualizer, the second song from the self-titled album they announced in September, out on 27 November through Unique Leader Records.

The first song, "Murderous Intent", came with Mike Ryan of Missing Link on it, and the record is built that way throughout: Devin Swank of Sanguisugabogg, JayWay of Bayway and Bridget Lynch of Stabbing all appear on the tracklist.

That is the economy of American slam in one sentence. The scene runs on guest verses traded between bands who tour together, and an album with four of them is not a list of favours but the way records get made at this level.

The band come out of Oklahoma, which is not a place anyone associates with the style, and the self-titled album is the second one. Naming a second album after yourself usually means a band thinks the first one did not quite say who they were, and five weeks out there are two songs to judge that by.
