Rammstein have published their performance of Engel from Rammstein: Live In Mexico City, the concert film that opened in cinemas on 4 November.

Engel is from 1997 and is the oldest song they have taken from the project so far. Deutschland came first, then Sonne, and this is the third. The film was cut from three nights at Foro Sol in Mexico City in October 2022, with Paul Dugdale directing, and the live album from the same shows arrives on 20 November.

Four years between the shooting and the release is a long wait for a concert film, and it explains why the band have been releasing songs from it one at a time rather than all at once. What the footage shows is the production as much as the performance, which has always been half of what this band sell.

The line up has not changed since 1994: Till Lindemann, Richard Kruspe, Paul Landers, Oliver Riedel, Christoph Schneider and Christian Lorenz. Thirty two years without a single replacement is rarer in this music than any stage effect they have built.
