Repentance have released Among The Wolves, the third song from Retaliate, which Noble Demon will put out on 27 November.

The date is the part worth knowing. The album was finished and scheduled for the summer, and the band moved it when Shaun Glass, who founded them and drove them, died unexpectedly on 1 July. He plays guitar on the record, and the line-up printed with it still reads Adam Gilley, Shaun Glass, Eric Burns, Eric Karol and Brandon White.

Gilley kept his comment on the song itself. "One of my favorites off the album," he said. "This song expresses intense feelings of betrayal, anger, and disillusionment toward someone who has caused deep emotional pain." Written before July, it reads differently after it, which is what happens to every lyric on a record like this.

Glass spent four decades in the Chicago scene, through Terminal Death, Sindrome, Broken Hope, SOiL, Dirge Within and The Bloodline before this band. Alex Lackner produced the album at Accelerated Sound and Ari Mihalopoulos mixed it. The band gave an earlier song back to him in the same spirit.
