Sepultura played Polícia on Saturday night on Altas Horas, the Brazilian television programme on TV Globo, with members of Titãs on stage with them.

Titãs wrote it. It is on Cabeça Dinossauro, and they are the biggest rock band Brazil has produced. Sepultura have been playing the song live for more than thirty years, so the arrangement on the night was less a guest appearance than a handover, in both directions.

The connection is older than this. Andreas Kisser played on two Titãs albums, on Brasileiro from Domingo in 1995 and on Deixa Eu Entrar from Sacos Plásticos fourteen years later, the record that won a Latin Grammy for Brazilian rock album in 2009.

The farewell continues. Sepultura's last concert is on 7 November in São Paulo, and it has moved from the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu, which holds around twenty six thousand, to the Suhai Music Hall, which holds just over nine.
