The Ocean have announced the second leg of their European tour behind Solaris, twenty seven dates between 23 January and 20 February, with A.A. Williams opening on selected nights.

The routing is the kind only a band with a long European history can fill. It opens in Bremen and runs north to south through the Netherlands and Belgium into France, down to Lisbon, Madrid and Barcelona, back across the Pyrenees for five French dates, then Italy, Switzerland and home through Germany, finishing in Leipzig.

Four weeks with two days off is a hard schedule, and the band are booking it on the back of a result rather than a hope: Solaris entered the German album chart at number 15, which for a post metal record on Pelagic is a genuine number rather than a press line.

Expedition II, as they are calling it, is the west and south half. The first leg covered the rest, which means that between the two of them the band will have played most of the continent inside a year of the album.
