Thus Spoke Zarathustra have released "In My Dreams..." through Prosthetic Records, with a film to go with it.

Andy Reynolds, who sings, used the announcement to put distance between the band and the label most writing about them has used. He called the song "a step beyond the Myspace deathcore revival" bracket, and said "this song feels like what the band has been trying to do since the beginning". He also said this era of the band has its own identity, which is a careful way of saying the earlier one is over.

The lyric goes at belief directly. "It's important to know when you're choosing to believe something versus blindly following it because you're told it's the right thing to do," he said. "Question everything, even God."

The five piece formed in Elkton, Maryland in 2022 and already have two albums behind them, the second of which carried a title long enough to be a sentence. For a band moving this fast, a single that announces a change of direction is worth more attention than the usual campaign track.
