Hollow Front have released Death To My Name, the third single from No Love Without Despair, which arrives on 11 December.
Three singles in six weeks before a release date is a heavier rollout than a band at this level usually attempts, and there is a reason for it. The Grand Rapids group funded this album themselves and have described its existence as a miracle, which is not the language of a band with a label budget behind the campaign.
That changes what the singles are doing. With no marketing spend to lean on, each one has to carry its own weight to streaming playlists and to the people who will preorder, and the band are spacing them accordingly rather than holding everything back for release week.
The earlier two were Comatose and So Long To Yesterday, the second of which came out of the stretch when guitarist Dakota Alvarez had a stroke and nobody in the band knew whether he would return to it.
No Love Without Despair will be the band's fourth album.
