Foreshadow have put out "This Harvest That You've Sown" with a lyric video. It comes from the EP that is their 1991 demo recorded properly, out since 2 October.

The song was written in the late 1980s and is about ecological collapse, which is why Patrick Loisel keeps coming back to the same point. "The current situation is so similar to the one back then that I feel twenty one again," he says. "These recurring patterns keep coming back, whether society is primitive or technologically advanced."

He is a historian and a teacher as well as the singer, and the EP's subjects read like a syllabus: social tension, environmental decay, anti militarism and the way human behaviour repeats.

The band are from Montreal, with members who also play in Augury, Vantablack Warship, Arseniq33 and Clearwater Deathblow, and the sleeve is the original 1991 artwork.

Live dates in Quebec follow the release, which is the first time most of this material will have been played in front of anyone.
