Towards Hellfire have finished recording their third album. It is due early in 2027, which is all anybody is saying so far: no title, no label confirmed, no song.
That is a fast four years. The band formed in 2021 in Poznan, put out Death upon the Holy Throne in 2023 and Inquisitors of Blasphemy in 2025, both through Putrid Cult, and they have now tracked a third before the second one has finished doing the rounds.
The three of them work under initials, which in Polish black and death metal is less a gimmick than a house style, and the records sound like the ones that come out of that scene: the drums are loud and dry, the riffs lean on the death metal half of the description rather than on tremolo, and nothing runs long.
Putrid Cult is a small operation that has put out a good deal of what Poland has sent abroad in the last decade. Nothing suggests the band are moving, but the announcement is bare enough that the label line is the one detail still open.
