Nekrogoblikon go back to Australia in March 2027, and for the first time they carry on to New Zealand.
A first visit to a country twenty years into a career is a smaller milestone than it sounds and a harder one to reach than most people think. New Zealand is two further flights and a separate set of promoters, and for a band this size the maths only works when it is bolted onto an Australian run that already pays for itself.
That they can bolt it on at all says something about where the band now sit. They spent their first decade as the group with the goblin, a joke that got in the way of the songs, and the last few years being taken seriously by people who came for the joke and stayed for the writing.
