Short Biography

Formed in New Jersey in 2009 and named after a character in the Batman Confidential comic. Lead guitarist Adam De Micco joined in 2010 and drummer Austin Archey in 2012, and both have stayed since. Tom Barber sang from 2010 on the early EPs and on the albums Psalms (Density, 2015) and Flesh Coffin (Outerloop, 2017), then left in April 2018 for Chelsea Grin. His successor CJ McCreery recorded Immortal, the band's first album for Century Media, and was dismissed on 23 December 2019 after allegations of abuse were made against him. Immortal came out in 2020. Will Ramos stood in on tour from 2020 and was named the permanent singer on 11 June 2021, the day To the Hellfire was released. Pain Remains followed on Century Media in October 2022, and I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me in September 2025. The songs run blast beats and black metal influences under symphonic arrangements, with Andrew O'Connor handling synths alongside rhythm guitar.
