Short Biography

Formed in Yekaterinburg, Russia in 2014. Vocalist Aleksandr Shikolai, known as Alex Terrible, and the British lead guitarist Jack Simmons, formerly of the London band Acrania, are the two members who have stayed throughout. The Chapters of Misery EP came out in 2015 and was reissued by Sumerian Records after the band signed to the label in 2016. The albums Misery Sermon (2017), Kostolom (2021) and Grizzly (2025) followed. The music is built around Shikolai's very low guttural vocals, with lyrics in Russian and English, often within the same song. Kostolom added pitched screams, occasional clean vocals and nu metal influences. In 2022 the band moved to Orlando, Florida for a time. The current line-up has Mikhail Petrov on bass, Evgeny Novikov on drums and Dmitry Mamedov on rhythm guitar.
